Elmhirst's Resort is located 90 minutes east of Toronto on the north shore of Rice Lake. This unique colony of lakeside cottages began as a humble fishing camp for American families, developed a European market and built a meetings business as well as creating outdoor adventure opportunities for free spirits.

Spread over 240 acres, the Resort, still family owned and operated, caters to an international market year round - the fields are grazed by Black Angus Beef cattle - bred and raised for the dining room; free range chickend produce the eggs for the kitchen; vegetable and herb gardens provide the freshest produce and the greenhouse features an array of flowering plants.

Horseback riding, guided ATV and snowmobile safaris, sightseeing flights, biking, hiking and ski trails, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis and waterfront sports including canoeing, kayaking or boat reantals are available. Need a workout or massage?
